My IC756 Pro III began running strangely a few weeks ago. The power output would drop to 10 watts after about 15 minuets of operation.  Initially I thought that it was the SB-200’s tubes but realized that my xmtr was the problem.  So I contacted Paul Hanson at the Icom Service Center, who suggested that I run a test in the RTTY possition key down.  Just what I thought the power dropped to 10 watts prompting me to ship the rig down for Paul to take a look at it.

Yesterday I received a call that the rig had bad transistors in the driver that had to be replaced.  Hopefully I will be back on the air this weekend.
